101010.

Sunday, 10th October 2010.

(Day 4 in Taipei, Taiwan.)

101010.
It's kinda like a BIG day for Taiwan.
Because their national day is on 10th of October.
And this year, it was in conjunction with 2010!
So, double the celebration, for 101010!

Well, we went visiting to some memorial places.

First stop - Taipei Martyrs' Shine.
This is a memorial hall for those soldiers who sacrificed.

After that, off we went ~

To Maokung Gondola.

There are 4 stops here in Maokung Gondola.

First and second are the zoo.

They have sooooo many kinda animals there!

But we didn't go there.

LOL.

We stopped at the third and forth station.

Our first destination - Zhinan Gong.

It's a temple on the leg of the mountain.

So huge!

Actually there are lots more of temples there.

But we only went to one of them.

Just by walking, it was already consider a long journey.

Second destination...

To the top!

Maokung station.

It was near lunch time and we was told by our uncle that we can find nice food on the top of Maokung.

Something horrible happened while we were having our lunch.

A little boy, somehow... Burned by hot hot hot water.

What a sad scene.

It is on the top of the mountain and ambulance took quite some time to reach the restaurant.

Hope that he is fine.

Hmmm...

Uncle picked us up on the top of the mountain.

And off to our next station.

Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall.

When I saw that big big statue inside the memorial hall, I thought of President Lincoln.

LOL.

There was something like a parade there outside the memorial hall.

Because of the 101010 thingy.

But we didn't stay to watch the parade.

We had something much more excited to watch.

LOL.

Was searching for the Hello Kitty place.

And we eventually bumped into it while wandering along the road.

HAHA.

FYI, I'm not a Hello Kitty fan.

Nice right the deco.

But kinda.... pinky.

After having those sweet sweet desserts, off for some prayers again.

HAHA.

It was somewhere near Mangka.

I wonder have anyone watch the movie Mangka?

Finally~

the moment we have been waiting for......

Fireworks!

52 mins of fireworks!

Can you imagine how long was that?

Me and Mogu were walking around finding a spot to watch the fireworks.

And suddenly we heard "BOOOOM!!!"

The fireworks had started!!!!

Then we quickly ran like insane to see where the sound came from.

I took quite a lot.

But not going to put it up.

HAHAHA.

There was also smiley fireworks.

But I didn't manage to capture it.

Anyway~ nice one!
